What is a podcast?

How long is your podcast?
Between 60 minutes and 80 minutes. They will fit perfectly on a recordable CD so you can listen in your car. They are MP3 format to play on any MP3 Player, be it an Apple iPod, Microsoft Zune, or Creative Zen. We may expand the show to two hours and make it available in two parts so they can be easily burnt to recordable CD’s. If you want more, we’ll produce more… Simple as that.
How often do you put out shows?
Every week. Alternating between the music show and an interview show. Generally released every Friday.
What equipment do you use to put together the podcast?
We use a Samson C01U USB microphone, a regular old Dell PC, and the awesome free audio editor Audacity. For video work we use Final Cut Pro on an older 800mhz Mac.
